Cultivar of the Blue Zone
Despite Sardinian olive oil winning several competitions and being considered by some critics to be one of the best olive oils in the world, it's relatively hard to find on the international market. Sardinian varieties have been granted the coveted PDO status.

As a young family with small children - we know how difficult it can be to find products that you can trust. That's why we make every bottle of olive oil traceable and work only in small batches on our gmo and pesticide-free family olive groves. Buying olive oil directly from the farmers is the best way to ensure the product you're getting is real.

The same cultivar used in the region of the longest-living men in the world (Olgiastra, Sardinia) is the same cultivar that we use in our olive oil (Nera di Villacidro, also known as, Nera di Oliena). Because of the high levels of polyphenols in this cultivar of EVOO - we believe it is a contributing factor in the health and longevity of the Sardinian blue zone population.
