Su Pramesu: Where Flavors Dwell in the Midway
Nestled on the northern fringes of our town, Su Pramesu beckons with its unique charm as "The Mid-Way Point." Once adorned with sprawling vineyards that danced in the sunlight, the landscape underwent a transformation when European regulations demanded the removal of grapevines. In response, our ancestors embraced the opportunity to cultivate olives, a decision that continues to shape the land to this day.
Perched atop an elevated terrain, our land in Su Pramesu benefits from natural irrigation, sparing us the laborious task of manual watering. Here, the Nera Di Villacidro cultivar reigns supreme, boasting sub-cultivars like the delicate "Terza Piccola" – the third and smallest in the ripening cycle. Despite their diminutive size, these olives pack a flavorful punch, tantalizing the palate with their robust essence.
In Su Pramesu, every olive tells a story—a testament to the meticulous care, favorable climate, and the enchanting dance of nature that converge to create something truly extraordinary. It's a symphony of flavors and fragrances, a celebration of heritage and tradition, encapsulating the essence of our beloved land.
